Worst Scripted Television Series

When you think of all of the time and the effort (not to mention the money) that goes into a television series, it seems like a given that every single show should be at least pretty good.

I mean, there's no shortage of aspiring writers who are pitching their ideas every way they can. And a highly paid professional executive looks at an endless stream of these pitches, picking out the creme de la creme. And then some other highly paid professionals put millions of dollars into the writing, casting effects, etc.

When I put it like that, it seems like every show should be golden. So why is that supposition in such stark contrast to the actual fountain of dreck that's spewed into our living rooms all day, every day?

I dunno.

But I do know that it's time to pick out the worst scripted television series on Hulu, the scabbiest scab on the ass of the ugly dog, if you will.

Readers of The Hulu Review and the general public can vote on their pick in the comments section of this post. The total audience vote will have the weight of one panel member. In addition, the highest vote-getter will automatically advance to the next round.

Here are the 102 eligible shows. They are broken down by genre, and some shows may be repeated under different headings. A shortened list of proposed nominees will be posted next week.
