Best Non-Competitive Reality Show

A competitive reality show is fairly straightforward. There are people to root for or against, and the spectacle of them striving to win.

But take out the element of competitiveness, and what are you left with? Sometimes you get something inspirational. Sometimes it's a thoughtful look at some small facet of the human condition. Sometimes, it's just a heaping pile of crap.

These nominees (which have been separated from celebrity driven reality shows) give us all of that, and more.

Readers of The Hulu Review and the general public can vote on their pick in the comments section of this post. The total audience vote will have the weight of one panel member.

Here are the 39 eligible reality shows: A shortened list of proposed nominees will be posted next week.
